Grandeur peak
The orange construction cones were pervasive, on the lower trail from Church fork
Perhaps placed to protect the public from dangerous snow conditions?
Good skiing found in the upper nw facing bowl.
The point
No trails signs through the sage near the bottom.
12-14 inches of new light density snow were found over a firm mostly crusted base. New snow would sluff on the crust, if the angle was over 35°.
Because of strong pre-fontal wind from the south, prior to the latest storm, lower elevations have a thin to non existent snow pack.
