I was gonna go skiing but...I forgot my skis so,
still early, shoreline in the morning.
Phlox are hanging in.
Pagen flowers above the city, altered in an appropriate fashion. Think I'll
head for Black mountain.
Not sure why it's called that but,
takes awhile to get there if yer old and slow,.
sidetracked by lizards and beetles.
Pano from the ridge.
The lilies were widespread on the north facing.
I thought they'd be gone. Reading up, they appear shortly after the snow melts. Another early bloomer,
that I get confused with mints.Since no one's around, I smashed one up to see how it smelled.
New sunflowers and yarrow,
most going to seed.
Not so lost, after all.
The water department repaved the portion of the road where the butterflies hang out in the mud.
Still found one onna wallflower.
It is a protected watershed,
mustard weed growing, despite the best efforts of outdoor enviornmentalist, weed pulling groups.
