Stripes on Red Baldy
after climbing the east ridge.
Snow was a little slow to soften with cool temperatures and did not go off.
Southeast facing was good from 9-11k at 10:30 am. Southwest facing after noon and the northwest face of Red Baldy was still firm off the summit at 3:30.
Forecast temps are a little warmer for Sunday. Except for a rogue glide slide or some other oddity, snow is stable, heading for firn and a melt off in place.
