Hoping to get a coupla snapshots of the big blue dragonflies.
The only one.
Little brown butterfly's called a skipper.

Did find some damsels

Best luck is to sneak a pic when they've caught a fly.
Damsel flies are easier.
Don't fly as fast or far, hang out close to the creek
Sometimes, ya find a photo slut.
This is a small meadowhawk
poised, facing into the wind.
Looked like he was
getting a kick outta the photo shoot.
Leaves are changing. Doubt there'll be many more dragon fly hunts.
