Damselflies
"Slender-bodied, generally smaller and more frail than dragonflies. Most have an eyespot on the back of each eye. When perched, all four wings are usually held together alongside or sail-like over the abdomen.
The eyes are set far apart giving hammer-headed appearance. Weak fliers, usually found not too far from water."
Must be spring, finally.
Found some damselflies on the trail
in lower City Creek.
I'm calling them dancers
because they hold their wings up...
at least most of the time.
