Wet point releases on the west facing around rocks
I came up with 6-8" of dense settled snow over a firm base.
Ski cutting produced a little sluffing and a few roller balls off the top of Superior into Cardiff.
Snow below about 8500' was mank by noon. South facing, a little slow but, remained supportable.
There was also a new shallow wet point release here and there. Main damage was from the warming last week.
Gonna have to wait and see if the weather guessed heat up does the same or more damage over the next several days.
Oh yeah, best to have appropriate equipment in the back country, including a pickaxe and whippet ski poles.
