Hadn't been on snow for awhile.
Settled storm total was about 4" at the trailhead with 8" or so at upper elevations. Misty snow showers all day added another inch or two.
Found this drooper along the West Monitor ridge.
New snow was good for snowball fights or making an igloo. Ski cutting easily initiated new snow slides on angles over 35° which spread as they traveled.
Winds were light, mild temperatures. By late afternoon rain-snow line had risen to about 8k.
Best skiing was on lower angled slopes.
Stopped for a snapshot of the low clouds surrounding the rock bands in the Storm mountain area on the way down.
