Elevations, slope angles and aspects
6200-10600', angles over 35°, all aspects.
Snow conditions
2-6" new and recent snow over a variable old surface.
South facing, off aspects and mid-lower elevations have crusts, some supportable, others not so much.
Upper elevation north facing retains dry snow under the fresh, scattered faceting.
West wind drifted snow on mostly east facing, some of those are quite loose.
Weather
Low clouds and fog, snow showers with an inch+ accumulation by afternoon.
Wind from the west, stronger on ridges, light in sheltered, moderate temperatures.
Avalanche activity
Two active shallow wind drifts on east-northeast facing, upper elevations.
1-6" deep, new snow only, running short distances.
Evaluation
Mostly stable in the area traveled.
Lingering potential for active drifting, wet activity with warming.
Weather guessers suggest warming temperatures through mid week so..
Increased potential for corn on sun exposed.
Possible wet slabs in old early season layering with a marginal refreeze.
