June 1
Clear skies and low humidity, figured there might be enough cooling for a refreeze.
Lower elevations and south facing, about gone.
LSB softened by 10,
bowl was off at noon.
Ridge glide crack first observed in mid May has a little slumping but, likely to melt in place.
Found this guy in the snow.
I spent quite a bit of time last week trying to get a decent photo of a hawk moth
feeding on milkvetch in the foothills. Partially successful.
Of interest, uh...at least to me, is how the lower elevation snow line goes up quickly as one looks down the canyon.
Wull, why ski?
I've been demoing this cob job. Dynafit toe, cable heel. Best used with a bellowed boot, dynafit toe insert.
It's a novelty, somewhat limited utility.
