The third storm? of the season passed through quickly.
Fall color lingers at mid and lower elevations.
Looks to me like the winter's base will also linger.
I walked up to Catherines pass.
for a closer look.
The ground is frozen above about 9500'. Wind drifts 2' or so in predictable spots, otherwise 4-10" sheltered shady.
Weather guessers have another one for early in the week.
That may make the mountains brown and white till winter arrives.
