Elevations, slope angles and aspects
7200-11k', angles over 35°, all aspects.
Snow conditions
4-6" new snow over a mostly crusted base.
Conditions could be characterized as a little lumpy, scratchy at lower elevations.
Weather
Partly cloudy to overcast to partly cloudy, a few flakes mid day.
Temperatures were cool, winds were light from the west.
Avalanche activity
Surface sluffing on the steeper hills,
lacking punch.
Evaluation
Good stability on all aspects(watch your sluff), at all elevations.
Weather guessers do have a few more inches incoming.
Future stability is dependent on snow amount, bonding and wind effect.
