March 1
Willow Heights, West Monitor, Wills Hill

7800-10k, angles over 35°, all aspects.
Snow conditions
2-6" over a mostly crusted base.
Right side up and well bonded.
March 2
Bowman trail, Pole Canyon, Alexander Basin(Middle Bowl), Millcreek
Elevations, slope angles and aspects
6400-10200', angles over 35°, north, east and west facing aspects.
Snow conditions
2-12" recent snow, elevation and aspect dependent.
There is a shallow base refresh at lower elevations re-covering bare ground. Obstacles abound.
Well bonded early, surface sluffing on steeper hills running into lower angled terrain.
Mid day wind formed shallow soft slab drifting on lee aspects.
Those were sensitive to ski cuts but didn't propagate.
Weather
Overcast skies with snow showers all day, moderate temperatures, wind from the west gusting to around 30 mph for a short period.
Evaluation
Mostly stable snow. Increasing instability from drifting.
Ski cuts recommended on lee aspect starting zones and rollovers.
Weather guessers have more snow suggested so...
Future stability is dependent on snow amount, bonding and wind effect.
