Snow conditions
2-6", elevation dependent, of very dense snow over a supportable, damp crust.
Weather
Partly to mostly cloudy skies, wind from the wnw gusting to 20 mph along the ridges, mild temperatures.
Avalanche activity
Ski cutting produced an addition to the natural in South Monitor.
Wind drifting and warming the crust was the cause.
West Monitor had rollers with a point release sluff or two.
Evaluation
Instability was from new snow wind drifts and warming.
Weather guessers have another round suggested so...
Future instability would be from any new snow amount, bonding, wind and warming.
