Elevations, slope angles and aspects
6300-10800', angles over 35°, north, east and west facing aspects.
Snow conditions
Settled snow with a spongy base over wind, sun and rime crusts in upper elevation shady.
Surprized to see how scratchy the east chute off the Twin was.
Mid and lower elevations had surface crust, icey in places.
Weather
Partly cloudy to overcast skies, light wind and mild temperatures.
Avalanche activity
Coupla shallow crowns from February 18th storm + recent glide above the diving board.
Evaluation
Good stability, isolated drifting
Future instability would be from any new snow amount, bonding, wind and or warming.
