Weather guessers have snow in the forecast, amounts?
I walked up Cardiff from Reynolds flat to see what the coverage was in the upper bowls.
I found hoar frost at lower elevation, decreasing and limited to open areas mid elevation, none in the upper.
Melted off by afternoon.
Snow total, 0 to 8", elevation and aspect dependent.
Off aspects, shady but getting sun during the day, have a supportable crust under loose snow.
North facing is small grained facets, foot penetration to the ground.
Haven't scraped the wax off rock skis, yet. We'll see.
