I caught the bus to Alta, again.
The little storm from yesterday had already settled out so I
skipped the upper for a tour-High Ivory to Mineral fork.
A large wet slab avalanche had run, the result of heavy rain on April 26th.
Path is called Barrieto. Ene facing. The crown was up to about 8' deep, maybe 100' wide.
It took out the winter snowpack in places,
running through the low angle to the flats, trenching the path with a debris pile over 10' deep on the summer trail.
So much for Mineral.
