Hitchhiked to Alta for a ski tour into Cardiff.
A look from the shoulder revealed some skier compaction + serious zig zagging up tracks. Keyhole went clean.
Big groups lapping up the table scraps, I decided enough is enough.
Upwards of 3' snow with supportable mid pack layering. Surface snow is dry and loose on the shady side.
Followed the common path to the Buxton mine, out a well packed road with views of shallow Ivory and Georges.
No snow in the forcast...We'll see how long it takes to rot out the mid pack with deeper layering.
