Travel was from upper Albion parking at Alta thru Grizzly Gulch,
Silver Fork,
Days Fork, exiting out to Spruces campground.
Snow conditions were character building from marginal coverage on sunny aspects with variable wind crusts on
shady aspects in starting zones near ridges, a few reasonable turns in the run outs and unsupportable sandboxes
to finish, before hitting a packed trail.
A look at Alta illustrates low snow coverage with brush exposed in lower Greeley bowl and plenty of rocks in the castle.
The currently suggested 1-2' of new snow in the next few days may produce some localized instability, more so
where wind exposed, but any sort of clean out is unlikely.
