6200-10400', angles over 35°, north facing aspects
Snow conditions
!2" settled from the recent storm. The IMAX layer is and inch or two deep. Densities from 10-15 percent, lighter at upper elevations. Cloud cover preserved shady aspects into the afternoon. A little sun started the rollers.
No slides observed but, clinkers will have ruined some skiing. Wet supportable snow at mid and lower elevations.
A refreeze will crust all but upper elevation shady. Crusts will soften with warming.
Weather
Overcast and fog. Late afternoon clearing to partly cloudy. Winds from the ene, gusting to 20 mph along the ridges. Mild temperatures.
Evaluation
Mostly stable snow. Damp and sticky conditions would seize up if cooled. Dry powder may linger on north facing. Instability will be from warming, maybe a few scattered wind drifts..
