Snow conditions
The old surface is a rain-rime crust of variable thickness. An inch of dense snow was added by late afternoon.
Weather
Partly cloudy to overcast. Snow showers after 2 pm. Winds from the wnw gusting to 30 mph. Moderate temperatures.

Evaluation
Snow was stable.
Bonding of old-new snow is questionable. Currently forecast 3-5 additional inches will probably not produce widespread avalanching. Wind drifted areas may have enough load for localized activity. Sluffing is likely.
