Snow conditions

A skiff to an inch of fresh snow over a variable, mostly crusted base. Add another inch? during the day from flurries.

Upper elevation shady retains soft recrysallized snow over the dense.

All other aspects and north facing below about 8500' have crusted under the fresh snow. Crusts vary from stout to annoying.

Sluffing with ski cuts on the steep and shady because of poor bonding and near surface faceting.

Weather

Overcast skies with snow flurries all day. Light winds(below 15 mph)and moderate temperatures.

Avalanche activity
