February 11
Mill B South
Elevations, slope angles and aspects
6200-11k, angles over 35°, north facing aspects.
Snow conditions
Lower elevations have filled in enough to allow skiing from top to bottom without base damage.
4-6" settled over a variable base.
January 16th rain crust is also variable as hell, from slide for life boilerplate on the surface to buried a foot under, dissolved into facets.
Wind and sun effects also variable dependent on aspect.
Small grained surface hoar was prevalent, more so at upper and mid elevations.
Found these brushes hiding in the rocks.
Weather
Clear to partly cloudy skies, light wind, moderate temperatures on the shady side.
Evaluation
Mostly stable snow with minor ski cut surface sluffing and
a few wet point release rollers-sluffs.
