6200-9800', angles over 35°, all aspects.

Snow conditions

Add a skiff of 5 percent.

Storm snow settled nicely eliminating density changes.

There were scattered wind drifts non reactive to cutting.

Sluffing on the steepest slopes was not running far.

There was enough warming to add a thin zipper crust on a few sun exposed slopes.

Weather

Cloudy skies with flurries in the morning. Partly cloudy by afternoon. Cool temperatures and light wind.

Evaluation

Stable snow was found in the area.

Warmer temperatures, sun and or higher wind would increase instability.
