5500-9800', angles over 35°, north and west facing aspects.
Snow conditions
Settled old snow.
Patches of small grained surface hoar except near water sources.
The upper few inches is faceting, capped by the inch or so of five percent. Winds have also done some scattered damage with crusts and shallow wind drifts.
Sluffing on the steepest slopes, not running far or packing much punch.
Mid elevation shady has suffered the most significant faceting with tails of skis occasionally breaking through.
Total snow at lower elevation exit was 12-16".
Weather
Overcast to partly cloudy skies, cool temperatures and light west winds.
Evaluation
Stable snow with isolated wind drifting.
Possible wet activity with warming.
